I grew up on a farm outside Saskatoon, so "know your neighbor" isn't a tagline for me, it's just how I was raised.
Before Wholesome Social Co, I spent years on the sales side of social media, managing DM conversations for a fitness creator as she grew from 50,000 to over 130,000 followers. I watched what worked and what didn't, and I also watched how much of the industry runs on selling a future that doesn't exist. Polished content promising results nobody delivers. Voices that don't sound anything like the business behind them.
I started Wholesome Social Co because I wanted to do it differently. Every account I run sounds like the person or business behind it, not like a template. Every post has to earn more than a like, it has to move someone toward an actual conversation. That's the whole philosophy behind the name: wholesome, honest, and built on values instead of empty promises.
When I'm not working, you'll find me back at the family farm outside Saskatoon, it's still home, and it's still run by my family. In the summer, that shifts to our lake house, which might be an even harder place to pull me away from. Most of my free time goes to the people I love most out there. And usually right alongside me is Emmy, my golden retriever, who thinks every work-from-the-farm day is really just a day for her to get pet.
